Fabric Dolls
We decided to create little dolls using felt fabrics and rubber bands. Afterwards we let our creative imaginations run free! Designing dresses and accessories as well.
Halloween Sensory Bags
Sensory bags for Halloween! We used foam, food colour, spiders, and some Halloween special toys. This foam bag gave kids the chance to use their imagination while selecting their favourite Halloween toys to put in the bag.
Halloween Word Search
We created a life size word search for Halloween! We are so excited for Halloween!
Dodgeball!
Today we played a team sport in which players on two teams try to throw balls and hit opponents while avoiding being hit themselves. Everyone enjoyed playing this game.
Halloween Salt Pictures
During activity, kids used glue, salt and food colouring to make their Halloween pumpkin. They put the glue on the paper by following the lines on the paper so salt can stay on it. This helped the kids to see where the salt was being poured.
Kids really enjoy doing this activity they was excited to share their experience with us about Halloween and their costume.
Gratitute Tree
Our children decided to express their thanks this fall season by putting together a gratitude tree!
Many expressed thanks to their families, friends, and loved ones.
Puffy Ghosts!
During this activity we asked kids questions about what they’re going to do on Halloween day. Some kids said they already have a costume and there will be going outside with their parents to get candy.
We use cotton and glue to make puffy ghosts. Kids practiced their fine motor by putting puffy cotton on the paper.
Magic Potions
Can we create a magical potion? The answer is yes! We had lots of fun seeing what reactions we got from different materials!
Straw and Paper
This is a fun straw and paper activity in which children have to pick paper with only using the straws.
Pom Pom Race
Fun table activity with Natasha! In this activity we made kids into four groups where they have to blow pom pom balls while using a straw into the cups on the other side of the table.
The team who put the most pom poms in their cups won the race!
Decorative Jar Making
Decorative jar was made with contribution of all the children. The special thing about our decorative jar is that transparent water beads made stones and other decorative craft loose parts to look like floating in water.
Paper Plate Lacing
In this activity kids really enjoy to make the holes around the paper plate by using the hole punch. The kids drew different designs inside by using the sharpies and have different lacing on the paper plates.
Creating Teepees
The kids learned about the significance of the teepee while designing and creating their own!
Leaf Balloons with Leslie
We used Mod Podge, lots of different colours and textures of leaves, and used a blown up balloon to glue them on. When the glue is dry, we can see if our bowls turned out!
Snow Shovel Race
This activity was group activity in which kids are divided into 2 groups and the group who put more cotton balls in the next bin will we in the race
Kids liked that activity a lot! They also learned how to co ordinate and work in a group.
Pom Pom Challenge
We did the Pom Pom maze activity today. The kids really had fun as they blew Pom poms in the maze. They tried different ways to complete the task. Kids also tried walking in the lines without stepping on it.
Bubble Paint
We use food colour, paper, and soap. We made bubbles and then we put paper on the top and learned that it made different types of patterns!
Balloon Fun!
How can we tie balloons into different shapes? Just ask Natasha and the school agers!
